Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston is putting the romance rumours to rest — with warmth and wit.
The Friends alum, 56, sent a heartfelt message to her friend Pedro Pascal on his 50th birthday, just weeks after the internet exploded over their cozy dinner outing in LA.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Aniston reposted a New Yorker comic that read: “It’s not strange at all — lately, a lot of people are reporting that their faith in humanity is riding entirely on whether or not Pedro Pascal is as nice as he seems.”
Alongside the sketch, she wrote: “Can confirm — as nice as he seems. Happy Birthday PP!”
The adorable message comes after the duo sparked dating rumours when they were spotted leaving Tower Bar at the Sunset Tower Hotel together following a three-hour dinner with friends.
The outing quickly sent social media into a meltdown, with fans shipping the pair hard. But despite the viral buzz, insiders swiftly shut down the speculation.
“There is no romance going on between Jennifer Aniston and Pedro Pascal,” a source told Page Six. “They respect each other as artists, but it’s strictly platonic.”
Another insider hinted at a possible on-screen collab instead, telling People that Aniston is a fan of Pascal’s energy and would “love to work with him,” even teasing a potential appearance on The Morning Show.
Pascal also addressed the buzz at the Last of Us Season 2 premiere, calling the dinner “fun” and giving credit where it’s due.
“I’m just basking in [Jennifer’s] starlight,” the Chilean star laughed. “All the attention is because of her!”
