Cher, 78, shared a heart touching note on X, formerly Twitter, in remembrance of her ex, Val Kilmer.
On Wednesday, the Dark Lady singer took to social media to express her grievances about the sudden loss of Kilmer.
"VALUS, will miss u," Cher said in her tribute.
The Strong Enough singer also added, "U Were Funny, crazy, pain in the ass, GREAT FRIEND, kids [love] U."
The American singer noted that even during sickness the Top Gun star was "brave."
In 2021, the Still singer told People that they both met for the first time at a 1980’s birthday party with their friendship later turning into a romantic relationship.
“We became friends because we laughed at the same things constantly. He would sleep over and it was just a friendship [at first],” the Fernando singer stated.
"It went from madly in love and laughing hysterically to respecting each other's ability," Cher told People.
They remained friends after breaking up and always respected and loved each other’s work.
The Tombstone actor died due to pneumonia on April 1, 2025 with Kilmer's daughter, Mercedes, announcing the news of his sudden death.
