Young Thug really wants to make up for the time he lost in prison.
The Atlanta rapper was arrested in May 2022 in the YSL RICO case and was released in October 2024 after pleading no contest to several charges. He is now on probation for 15 years.
Since his release, Thug has been on a mission to rejuvenate his career and has been teasing new music and concerts in the last few months.
On March 27, Thug took to X, formerly Twitter, to announce that he will be headlining the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash music festival which is set to take place in Illinois on June 22.
The 33-year-old also shifted his focus to a Playboi Carti fan who replied to Thug’s post and compared him to Carti.
“U NOT CARTI LIL BRA,” said the apparent hater, to which Thug responded, “I wonder who’s couch you’re on tweeting this.”
It is unclear who Thug was referring to in his response but the Stoner singer is making it known that he will not stay quiet in the face of online trolling.
Besides performing in Illinois this summer, Thug will also be traveling to Europe to perform in Belgium and Switzerland this July.
