Kim Kardashian defends North West cameo music video amid backlash

Kim Kardashian finally spoke out about her daughter North West’s appearance in the music video for FKA Twigs’ song Childlike Thing, after being criticized by some fans as “inappropriate.”

The 44-year-old media personality posted some behind-the-scenes photos from the music video shoot on Instagram on Thursday.

The reality TV star who is currently involved in a “nuclear” conflict with her 47-year-old ex-boyfriend Kanye West, said she was “proud” of her 11-year-old.

She captioned the photo, saying, “I’m proud of my baby.” The celebrity also shared more videos of her eldest child on her stories.

In the video, Twigs and the aspiring singer were seen rapping in Japanese while wearing a white fur coat accessorized with thick silver necklace, and additional silver completed North’s futuristic ensemble.

In addition, in January of this year, pre-teen surprised everyone by rapping fluently in Japanese on a song from the British singer’s third studio album, EUSEXUA.

The user of social media shared mixed reactions, with one person commenting: “35 seconds of being a terrible mother and influence to her child. This is not art; this is perversion mocking art.”
