The ongoing dramatic saga between Kim Kardashian and Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, might take an unexpected turn.
The former power couple have been embroiled in a long-standing dispute involving their kids.
Kim and Ye share four children, including the 11-year-old North who was the subject of their most recent online quarrel.
Earlier this month, Ye released a song with his firstborn child, however, the track included a few vocals from Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The move reportedly upset Kim who previously attempted to prevent her ex-husband from ever releasing the song.
Ye followed the act by calling his ex-wife a “sex trafficker” on X, formerly Twitter, for letting North work with FKA twigs.
Given all their previous and ongoing disputes and also taking into account Ye’s recent unhinged rants, Kim is reportedly contemplating stripping joint legal custody of her children with their father.
Clinical psychologist Phil McGraw, better known as Dr. Phil, believes Kim has to go through with stripping joint legal custody otherwise she could face unforeseen consequences.
Dr. Phil recently talked to TMZ to discuss the drama between Kim and Ye. He stated that if Kim does not attempt to strip Ye of joint custody, then it could be considered parental negligence.
Dr. Phil believes that in a case of parental negligence, the government can legally get involved and take Kim and Ye’s children away from them.
Kim and Ye married in May 2014 in a private ceremony in Florence, Italy and finalised their divorce in fall 2022.
As of now, it is unclear whether Kim will make the hard decision but given that Ye is pushing her to the limit, The Kardashians star might be forced to do so.
