Blake Lively subpoena: Perez Hilton fires back with 'smart' move

Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., professionally known as Perez Hilton, took a legal action against Blake Lively after facing smear accusations.

During her ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, Blake dragged several content creators, including Perez.

However, the 47-year-old alleged that he has “out-smarted” the Gossip Girls alum’s “expensive” team with his recent move.

In a video posted on his blog page and Youtube, the columnist read out the letter to Judge Lewis J.Liman, requesting for the actress’ entire “deposition transcript.”

In the fiery letter, he admitted receiving “the sage advice” which would prove to be crucial for him to “shape and inform future communications with this court.”

Perez stressed that the transcript will be helpful for him to “defend” himself “fairly and appropriately.”

The blogger speculated that this move will push the Betty Buzz owner’s team to withdraw his subpoena “because they don’t want to risk this.”

The video was appreciated by the platform’s users as one agreed with the remarks, pointing out “[Blake] herself, admitted she had no knowledge of any smear campaign from bloggers.”

Another fan felt there “is something grievously wrong here with this judge denying almost every action of Justin Baldoni,” referring to the dismissal of defamation case earlier.

Did Perez Hilton ask for protective order?

Earlier, Perez requested the court for a protective order on July 29 after the entrepreneur subpoenaed the journalist in her lawsuit.

Meanwhile, he is not ready to back down and give up “private communications.” 

This came after the Hollywood A-list star accused him of creating “500 pieces of video” and other content against her with “sensational headlines.”
