Sharon Stone ‘unexpectedly’ fired from ‘Another Simple Favour’

Sharon Stone, an American actress and producer, took to social media to reveal that she had unexpectedly been removed from the cast of Another Simple Favour.

Commenting under an Instagram post from E! News show Hot Goss, she said that while she loved the cast for the sequel, she was fired for “for no reason at all.”

“I LOVED being cast and removed from my role unexpectedly for no reason at all LOVED it,” wrote the actress.

Another Simple Favour debuted at the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival earlier this month.

Alongside the main stars Anna Kendrick and Black Lively, other cast members include Alex Newell, Aparna Nancherla, Kelly McCormack, Michele Morrone, Elizabeth Perkins and Allison Janney.

Based on an official synopsis, the film follows the two main characters as they "head to the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman.”

Kendrick previously opened up about how nice it was to reunite with Lively, “She lives on the East Coast, I live on the West Coast, so we don't get to see each other often. But it was lovely, and I think that those characters have such weird chemistry that it's so fun to just get the gang back together. And it does feel a little bit like riding a bike.”
