Apple debuts iPhone16e with powerful Apple Intelligence features: Check specs, pricing

After months of speculations, Apple has officially unveiled the highly anticipated iPhone 16E as the newest member of the iPhone 16 family.

The recently launched model supports several significant features, including a few design tweaks and killed off the iPhone’s classic Touch ID interface. Instead, it includes a Face ID-enabled notch, along with the latest A18 chip and advanced Apple Intelligence under the hood. 

iPhone 16E specs 

The newly introduced iPhone 16E features a 6.06-inch OLED display, featuring a customisable Action Button, excluding the new Camera Control available in the iPhone 16 series. 

The iPhone 16E is powered by a Qi wireless charging up to 7.5W, which powers users more slowly than the 25W charging available on extravagant iPhones.

The iPhone 16E houses an A18 chipset, similar to the iPhone 16. In addition, the newest variant features a comprehensive suite of cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features, including notification summaries, and more, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. 

For optics, the iPhone 16E includes a single 48MP rear camera with OIS and a 12MP TrueDepth camera on the front for selfies and video calls. 

Notably, the iPhone 16E is the first iPhone model to feature a modem developed by the Cupertino-based tech giant itself. 

iPhone 16E pricing and availability

Apple’s latest iPhone 16E is priced at $599, which is a significant surge in price from the 2022 iPhone SE which is available for $429. It will be available to preorders from Friday, with shipping to start from February 28.
