X doubles its Premium+ plan prices following Grok 3 release

Hours after the launch of the highly anticipated Grok 3 AI model, by Elon Musk’s xAI company, X has significantly increased the price for its top Premium+ subscription plan, offering users access to the newly introduced flagship AI chatbot, for almost $50 per month.

According to the listing of X’s Premium plans support page, there is a significant price hike for monthly subscription prices for Premium+ in the US, as the listing prices have been updated to $50, while yearly prices have raised to $350 on the support page.

Within the past few months, it marks the second time that X has increased the price for the Premium+ plan. Back in December, the company raised the subscription amount to $22 from $16 per month. 

According to the listed prices, the latest plan will be available to Premium+ subscribers at more than double their current pricing. 

xAI is launching the latest subscription tier known as Super Grok, specially designed for users seeking early updates. So cutting-edge features, including “deep search” and “reasoning” will be available to Premium+ plan users.

In addition, while the X’s support page says a monthly subscription costs $50, the sign-up page lists a $48.40 per month price, and the check-out page still charges $40 per month.
