A few days after announcing the latest iteration of Grok, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot developed by Elon Musk’s AI project xAI, the tech billionaire confirmed the launch of Grok 3 on Tuesday (February 18).
A report from Reuters suggested, that Elon Musk confirmed its live demo at 4:00am GMT on February 18.
Earlier this week, Musk revealed that the upcoming variant of Grok 3 was under development, indicating the launch of the app soon.
While addressing the World Governments Summit in Dubai through video call, Musk stated: "Grok 3 has very powerful reasoning capabilities, so in the tests that we've done thus far, Grok 3 is outperforming anything that's been released, that we're aware of, so that's a good sign.”
Being one of a few tech industry barons worldwide, Musk has made headlines with his $97.4 billion bid to acquire OpenAI.
However, OpenAI has unanimously rejected his offer, further intensifying the ongoing battle between OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Elon Musk.
