WhatsApp is likely to roll out latest feature that keeps chat list filters permanently visible, simplifying it for users to navigate their conversations.

According to WABetaInfo, this significant feature keeps the filters pinned at the top of the chat list after launching the app, so users are not required to scroll the app.

Users will receive a small numerical badge within each filter, suggesting the number of unread messages in different categories, including personal, custom chats, and group.

It will allow users to instantly identify unread messages without opening every filter, streamlining the work for those managing several conversations.

Previously, chat filters remained invisible upon launching the app, requiring users to scroll down for them to appear. Now, Meta-owned WhatsApp automatically displays the filters.

Furthermore, WhatsApp has reportedly rearranged the favourites filter, simplifying it for users to access their specific contacts. This significant change encourages enhanced use of the favourite feature, allowing users to interact with priority contacts instantly.

Notably, this feature is currently available to a few beta testers, with plans for wider expansion in the near future.
