Ariana Grande gets emotional after ‘Wicked’ filming comes to end

Ariana Grande bid farewell to her Wicked director Jon M. Chu in an emotional post after the film adaptation of the broadway musical officially came to an end.

On Thursday, the Everyday hitmaker reposted director Jon M. Chu’s Instagram Story on her social media platform that read, "Will never forget my year with our Galinda. Can’t wait for you to meet her. Thank you @arianagrande for pouring your heart into Oz."

The 30-year-old pop icon added her response in the same story, "I will never forget even a minute of my year(s) with her either. Or you. Or my Cyn [Cynthia Erivo]."

Expressing her gratitude for her experience under the direction of Chu, she continued to pen, "Permanently and preferably intertwined. I am so inexplicably thankful that we got to add so many soggy eyelashes to the collection @jonmchu."

The Bang Bang songstress went on to gush over the director, "There aren’t words quite yet. But. Thank you, Jon, for leading the way with such compassion, openness, brilliance, and kindness."

"I have never seen someone conduct a space the way you do. I love you so much," she concluded the heartwarming caption.

The Dangerous Woman crooner portrayed Glinda opposite Erivo’s role Elphaba in the highly anticipated Wicked.

In the following story the Yes, And? singer added "one more bubble layer" wishing Chu "an incredibly beautiful last day [filming] tomorrow."

It appears the movie will officially be wrapped altogether on Friday with Erivo, as Chu also added on his Instagram story, "One more day left! @cynthiaerico are you ready?"

She said in response, "As ready as I’ll ever be!! Let’s goooooo!!!"
