The 50th annual Daytime Emmys united the stars under one roof for the award ceremony.

Before the award ceremony commenced, celebrities and other artists from soap operas, talk shows, game shows and cooking series, graced the red carpet on Friday, December 15.

The nominees of the Daytime Emmy Awards 2023, held at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles, included Selena Gomez for Selena + Chef, Zac Efron for his travel series, Down to Earth, talk show hosts Drew Berrymore, Kelly Clarkson, Tamron Hall and many others.

Hosts Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner took the stage to sprinkle their magic throughout the event.

From the Friday evening honorees, Susan Lucci received her lifetime achievement honor from Shemar Moore.

Here's a run down of all the winners of the night. 

Lead Performance in a Daytime Drama Series; Actor and Actress was awarded to Thorsten Kaye as Ridge Forrester and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood as Steffy Forrester from The Bold and the Beautiful (CBS), respectively.

Kelly Clarkson won the Daytime Talk Series as well as the Daytime Talk Series Host title for The Kelly Clarkson Show.

General Hospital got an accolade for the Directing Team for a Daytime Drama Series.

As for the Entertainment News Series award, Entertainment Tonight managed to secure it at the awards night.

Meanwhile, Sonya Eddy as Epiphany Johnson and Robert Gossett as Marshall Ashford, both from General Hospital (ABC) won Supporting Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actress and Actor award.

General Hospital led the pack with the most Daytime Emmy nominations this year, a total of 19. Next in line is The Bold and The Beautiful, who bagged 14.

Furthermore, The Young and the Restless got 13 nods leading the Days of Our Lives and The Kelly Clarkson Show with two nominations, as they bagged 11 each.

Since the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences NATAS chairman Terry Reilly shared that the Emmys were the first major awards show after the Hollywood strike, hence it can not be wrapped up in one day.

The Daytime Creative Arts & Lifestyle Emmys 2023 is set to honor and announce more winners on Saturday, December 16.
