'Ringless' Hugh Jackman spotted for the first time since split from Deborra-Lee

Hugh Jackman has been spotted on Saturday, Sept. 16, for the first time since his divorce announcement with Deborra-Lee was made public.

The X-Men star was seen early in the day on the streets of New York City as he took care of some personal chores around the town.

In the videos and pictures that are circulating over the internet, it is clearly visible that the Wolverine actor has freed his finger from the golden shackle.

It was confirmed from many sources on Friday that the couple is parting ways after living more than half of their life with each other.

Jackman was kind enough to have a short moment with the paparazzi in the city on Saturday and admitted he and his ex-wife to be are struggling with their split.

As he concluded the conversation he said, “It's a difficult time” and continued to walk away as he didn't want to discuss the matter further.

Although a source close to the Logan lead told Page Six exclusively that he is faltering from the separation and is “very sad.”

The fans of both Jackman, 54 and Furness, 67, are still recovering from the shock of their separation. 

On Friday the couple announced that their 27-year of marriage has reached to the final chapter.

The couple expressed their gratitude towards each other for sharing decades of marriage and revealed their decision to split ways to focus on their individual growth.

They made it very clear from the statement that their family will remain their sheer priority no matter what and asked for privacy and understanding during this difficult phase.

Till date this joint statement remains the only givings on the matter from the couple itself.
