Shakira to receive prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award

Shakira is poised to join an illustrious roster of artists as the latest recipient of the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2023 MTV VMAs. 

Shakira has recently been rumored to be romantically linked with Louis Hamilton, is not only gracing the stage as a performer but is also in the running for four esteemed Moon Person trophies: Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration for her work on TQG with Karol G, as well as Best Latin Song nominations for both TQG and Acróstico.

Set to be broadcast live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on September 12, the 2023 VMAs promise a night of exceptional entertainment.

Paramount's President of Music, Bruce Gilmer, expressed the organization's enthusiasm, stating in a press release, "Shakira is a true global force who continues to inspire and influence the masses with her unique musical prowess.
