Chris Tucker surprised fans with an exciting announcement on Tuesday.

The 51-year-old comedian revealed a schedule for his first stand-up tour in over a decade, The Legend Tour 2023, which includes 30 city roundups in Fall.

In a statement, the Rush Hour actor gushed about his love for comedy and stand-ups, prompting him to take the plunge and perform in front of a live crowd for the first time since 2011.

“I started my career doing stand-up in comedy clubs and it’s stand-up comedy that prepared me for all of my movie roles,” Tucker said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to getting back to my roots. I love performing live, there’s nothing like the energy of a live crowd and making people laugh. I’m excited to be back out on tour.”

Tickets will be available for pre-sale on Live Nation from Thursday, August 10, followed by a general sale a day later via Ticketmaster.
