Drake lambasts fans for throwing things on stage, for 'not taking life seriously'

Drake became utterly upset after a fan tossed an electronic cigarette onto the stage during his show in New York City.

"Did you throw a vape up here? Come on. Who threw this? There’s no way you’re taking life serious if you think I’m picking this vape up and vaping with you at the f—king Barclays Center," the rapper, 36, said in a TikTok video shared on Thursday, July 20. "You got some real life evaluating to do throwing this f—king lemon mint vape up here."

The official social media account for the indoor arena shared the video along with the remark, "Reminder: You cannot vape inside Barclays Centre."

Drake has encountered numerous concertgoers throwing objects his way while performing on stage. He is now on the road for his All a Blur Tour. At the show's opening night in Chicago earlier this month, one fan tossed their phone at him. However, the singer claimed he doesn't mind some things being thrown at him as long as they are pants during his performance in Montreal, Canada, two weeks later.

"I would just like to say before I go onto this next song, this is the first stage where I don’t have no bras, and I’m deeply disappointed," he told the crowd, according to footage found via Twitter. "But don’t start throwing shoes and phones and s–t!"

Drake is the most recent in a long line of performers who have had to avoid projectiles while on the road. Taylor Swift was recently startled by bracelets being thrown her way as she left a recent Eras Tour event, and Harry Styles recently had an eye injury while performing in Vienna, Austria.
