During her recent Las Vegas performance, renowned singer Adele, aged 35, candidly addressed a less glamorous aspect of her life as an artist.

In front of her fans, she revealed that her excessive sweating on stage, particularly while wearing Spanx, led her to seek medical advice.

Adele disclosed that she had been prescribed jock itch ointment due to her persistent sweating.

In a video circulating on social media, the Rolling in the Deep singer explained her situation, stating, "I sweat a lot, and it doesn't go anywhere, so I basically am just sitting in my own sweat, so my doctor diagnosed me with jock itch."

With a touch of humour, she jokingly connected the condition's name to the Denver-based NBA team, saying, "Jock itch, that sounds like I'm a big Nuggets fan, doesn't it? It looks like I'm a big athlete, right?"

This common fungal skin infection, typically associated with athletes, causes an itchy rash in warm and moist areas of the body, as explained by the Mayo Clinic.

Adele admitted to using a prescribed ointment for the condition, humorously expressing, "I have to squirt it on myself," before amusingly questioning her decision to disclose such information to the crowd, exclaiming, "I don't know why the f---k I just told you that!"

In a playful manner, she even jokingly mentioned having "body acne," eliciting laughter from her fans.

This revelation comes as the singer recently announced the extension of her Las Vegas residency, "Weekends With Adele," at the Colosseum in Caesar's Palace.

Speaking about the decision to extend her residency, she expressed a desire for more significant performances, stating, "Playing to 4,000 people for 34 nights is not enough and I know that, I know it's not enough. So I am coming back."
