Jenna Ortega's smoking pictures go viral, mother acknowledges

Jenna Ortega found herself at the center of controversy after photos of her smoking a cigarette sand consuming wine while in London circulated online, leading to a response from her mother, Natalie. 

Taking to her Instagram story on Wednesday, Natalie, who bears a striking resemblance to her famous daughter and works as a nurse, posted a series of subtly pointed messages about the perils of smoking. 

One of Natalie's story featured a meme featuring the character Gollum from Lord of the Rings with accompanying text that sarcastically read, "Don't believe those lies about cigarettes being bad for you. 

I've been smoking for most of my 21 years and I feel great!" 

As a nurse, she likely holds valuable insights into the risks and consequences of smoking, which she sought to convey to her followers through her social media platform.

The post emphasized that yellow teeth are just one of the many consequences of long-term smoking, further stating that smokers are more prone to developing gum disease, experiencing persistent bad breath, and encountering other oral hygiene issues. 

The post also emphasized the enduring nature of a mother's role and her unwavering worry for the well-being of her loved ones.

The young star is currently in the country to work alongside Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton in sequel, Beetlejuice 2.

Production for Beetlejuice 2 commenced in London on May 10, and the cast and crew have wasted no time in getting down to work, shooting various scenes for the film.
