Meghan Markle’s estranged father Thomas Markle has made a dying wish to mend his icy relationship with his daughter.
In an explosive interview for Channel 7, the Duchess of Sussex’s father, sister Samantha and brother Thomas Jr spoke of the former actress.
The interview promised a plethora of "treasured memories, home truths and secret tapes" of the former royal.
With the trailer of the interview being teased just a few weeks before King Charles III’s Coronation, held on May 6, it is expected that the Duchess will received flak following some of the claims the family has made against her.
Samantha has said that Meghan "would still be a waitress" had it not been her father.
Her brother Thomas said: "We're not going to go away" and that, "this is going to change everything."
Thomas too appeared desperate as he issued a "deathbed plea" to "the daughter he lost".
Referring to his relationship with Meghan, he questioned: "How can I fix this?".
It is pertinent to mention that Thomas divorced Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland back in 1987.
News of their icy relationship has largely been at the centre of the tabloids’ attention since Meghan's introduction in the spotlight.
Meghan spoke about her relationship with her father in her Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan and shared that she was left blindsided after it emerged that Thomas was colluding with the media ahead of the wedding.
In an earlier interview with The Mail he said that he "made her the Duchess she is today" and that she was nothing without him.
He was also allegedly selling staged pictures of himself to tabloids in the lineup of his daughter’s wedding.
