The Marvels: Marvel Studios announces new release date for Brie Larson-starrer

Marvel fans are met with yet another blow.

Taking to social media, Marvel Studios unveiled a teaser poster for the upcoming superhero film The Marvels coupled with a shocking revelation.

The female-led film was previously dated for release on July 28, of this year, however, as per the latest update, it has been pushed back to Nov. 10.

It is reported that the July slot will be taken by another Disney creation titled Haunted Mansion.

The Marvels will follow three female superheroes who reigned in phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

What We Know About The Marvels:

Brie Larson will return as Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers after her brave stint in Avengers: Endgame; Teyonah Parris will show off her superpowers as Spectrum/Monica Rambeau after her last appearance in Disney+ show WandaVision.

Furthermore, Iman Vellani will also join the Marvel parade as Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan after her eponymous Disney+ series – which gave a glimpse into the events of The Marvels in the post-credits scene of the season finale.

The film will also serve as the direct sequel to 2019’s origin movie titled, Captain Marvel.

Speaking to EW earlier this week, Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, sang the praise of the upcoming film, calling it “chill-inducing.”

There’s something immensely powerful about seeing Monica and Kamala and Carol together in a frame,” Feige said.

“To me, it’s only akin to the first Avengers movie and seeing the six of them together in a frame. It’s chill-inducing.”
