The news of 'Lois Griffin dead at 43' caused confusion and fury over the result of a TikTok prank 

Lois Griffin, a popular character in hit animated show Family Guy, has gone viral after it was reported that she died, leaving fans wondering if the voice actor Alex Borstein passed away.

The news comes after a TikTok video began circulating announcing "Lois Griffin dead at 43" as a prank by Family Guy fans.

For obvious reasons, it began a wave of confusion with many wondering if the character will no longer be on the show.

As per The Sun, the prank set off as a result of a trend involving TikTok users filming themselves telling their friends and family about a famous celebrity’s death with the latest being Lois Griffin.

However, many called out the prank for its bad taste over mocking a person over their fake death. 

Many Twitter users who watched the clip expressed their concern with a user commenting, "Can you guys please stop saying that Lois Griffin is dead I'm getting scared."  

So to conclude, Lois Griffin is still alive and kicking and will be in Season 21 of the show.
