Drake and 21 Savage are in trouble.

Condé Nast, the owner of Vogue magazine, has filed a lawsuit against rappers Drake and 21 Savage for allegedly misusing the Vogue moniker to promote their new album, Her Loss.

The musicians' promotional campaign, according to Condé Nast, was "entirely" based on the unauthorized use of Vogue trademarks, false claims that they would appear on the magazine's upcoming cover, and the "love and support" of the magazine's longtime editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour.

This includes their outreach to their more than 135 million social media followers.

“All of this is false. And none of it has been authorised by Conde Nast,” according to a complaint that was submitted on Monday evening to a federal court in Manhattan.

In addition, according to Condé Nast, the defendants produced a fake issue of Vogue that was distributed in key cities along with posters that copied the magazine's design.

It said that as a result, there was "unmistakable" misunderstanding among the general public, particularly in the media, who had previously hailed Drake and 21 Savage as "new cover stars" of Vogue.
