Netflix itself has pronounced the show, Stranger Things as the biggest global hit - the show could not be brought down from the top spot in Nielsen's weekly US streaming rankings.
The show garnered a total of 2.95 billion minutes of watch time on Netflix for the week of June 13 to 19.
Nielsen reports U.S. streaming numbers released after a month’s delay for Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max and Apple TV+ - much before the streaming giant has already claimed the series huge.
Peaky Blinders also returned to Netflix with its sixth and final season, pulling 904 million minutes of viewing.
Prime Video’s The Boys and Disney’s Obi-Wan Kenobi each streamed for 795 and 733 million minutes of viewing time respectively.
