Marcello Hernandez shares what Kevin Hart taught him on '72 Hours' set

Saturday Night Live star Marcello Hernández has shared what it was like working with Kevin Hart on Netflix's comedy film 72 Hours saying the actor left him with both valuable lessons and plenty of laughs.

Speaking to an outlet Hernández joked that Hart taught him much more than acting during their time together.

"[Hart] taught me a lot of stuff," Hernández said with a laugh. "He taught me how to deal with back pain, how to deal with sciatica, I believe is what he has."

The comedian continued the lighthearted banter by revealing another unexpected lesson from his co-star.

"Kevin, it's stairs," he joked. "He taught me that stairs become a challenge as you get older."

The experience Hernández admitted gave him a new appreciation for his youth. "Made me grateful for my youth," he said.

Beyond the jokes, Hernández spoke warmly about Hart's work ethic describing the Hollywood star as a true professional.

"It was a blessing also to see him work, on a more serious note," he shared. "Just getting to see him work, he's a true pro."

Filming 72 Hours was especially meaningful for Hernández because production took place in Miami his hometown.

"It was a lot of work, but I got to stay with my mom and I love spending time with my family," he said. "So to be close to them while I'm shooting something was a blessing."

The Netflix comedy features an ensemble cast including Kevin Hart, Marcello Hernández, Mason Gooding, Kam Patterson and several other comedy stars.
