Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco’s true colours exposed during recent date

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have been hailed as “good-hearted people” after leaving a lasting impression during a romantic dinner in Italy.

The loved-up couple, who tied the knot in 2025, recently enjoyed a meal at Trattoria Della Santa in Bologna just one day before Selena’s 34th birthday. 

Now, the restaurant owner has revealed what the pair were really like away from the spotlight.

Owner Riccardo Lelli described the famous couple as “absolutely amazing” and praised them for being kind and down-to-earth despite their superstar status.

Speaking to People, he said: “They were absolutely amazing, very lovely, good-hearted people. 

They showered us with compliments for the food, for the service, and they were just great clients.”

The restaurant’s waitress Saria Ahmed also shared her sweet experience of serving the 34-year-old singer and her husband, admitting it was a memorable moment.

“It was just a great experience,” she said.

However, Saria confessed she had a small awkward moment while looking after the pair. 

When the Calm Down singer and the 38-year-old music producer ordered prosecco, she suggested they order a bottle instead, before instantly worrying she may have sounded like she was offering them a cheaper option.

“They asked for another round, and I recommended them the bottle because it was more convenient,” she explained. 

“And while I was going to get it, I was like, ‘What did I just say to them?’”

Despite the funny mix-up, Saria said it was simply part of her job and laughed off the moment.

Meanwhile, Selena has opened up about her desire to continue growing both personally and professionally. 

The Only Murders in the Building actress said she wants to “keep evolving” and experience everything life has to offer.

Alongside her successful acting and music career, she has also built a beauty empire with her Rare Beauty brand, which has reportedly reached billionaire status.
