Heidi Montag has admitted that making a long-awaited return to music has been anything but easy, as she tries to balance life on stage with being a devoted mum.
The 39-year-old reality TV star recently made a splash by co-headlining the Neon Skies Festival alongside Kesha and Slayyyter.
But while fans were thrilled to see her back performing, Heidi revealed that her biggest priority has never changed and that are her two sons, Gunner, eight, and Ryker, three, whom she shares with husband Spencer Pratt.
Speaking about preparing for the show, she explained that she deliberately gave herself plenty of time, knowing family life can be unpredictable.
Just Go with It actress said she wanted room for anything that might happen, whether it was one of the children falling ill or unexpected family commitments.
The singer shared that she has spent months rehearsing, gradually stepping up preparations after receiving the invitation to perform.
Even with the demanding schedule, she has worked hard to fit rehearsals around her responsibilities at home.
Despite the challenge of wearing two very different hats, the Speidi star insists she is embracing this new chapter with a fresh outlook.
Rather than feeling overwhelmed by expectations, she wants to enjoy every second on stage and remind herself that performing is something she genuinely loves.
The TV personality also reflected on the lessons she's learned throughout her career, which has included plenty of highs and lows since she first found fame.
Heidi believes people shouldn't feel pressured into thinking they only get one chance to achieve their dreams.
According to the star, life is constantly changing, and it's never too late to reinvent yourself or chase a new goal.
