Amber Davies has criticized a theatergoer for allegedly filming a performance of Legally Blonde: The Musical, revealing she asked venue staff to remove the audience member during the show's interval in Dublin.

Davies, who plays Elle Woods in the UK and Ireland tour of the hit musical, took to social media after the performance at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, claiming a woman seated in the front row recorded the entirety of the first act despite theater rules prohibiting filming and photography.

Addressing her followers, the former Love Island winner described the audience as "beautiful" but said one person's actions distracted the entire cast.

She claimed the alleged filming "ruined the morale" of the company's eighth show in Dublin and said she hoped the woman would not return for the second act after she requested staff escort her from the venue.

According to Daily Mail, Davies also issued a broader reminder about theater etiquette, urging audiences to put their phones away and experience live performances without recording them.

Moreover, she warned that anyone caught filming could be asked to leave, adding that she would not hesitate to report disruptive behavior if it affected the cast or audience.

Her comments sparked widespread support online, with many social media users agreeing that recording performances is distracting and disrespectful to performers.

The Legally Blonde tour continues its run in Dublin through July 18 before moving to its next scheduled venue.
