Ryan Seacrest reveals why he missed Taylor Swift's wedding

Ryan Seacrest has opened up about missing Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's highly anticipated wedding, revealing that he had originally planned to attend before a last-minute work obligation forced him to cancel.

Speaking on his radio show, the television host said he had RSVP'd "yes" to the invitation and was looking forward to celebrating the couple's big day. 

However, those plans changed after he was booked to host Disney's Fourth of July 250 special, which conflicted with the wedding schedule.

Seacrest admitted the decision was difficult, explaining that he carefully considered whether he could make both commitments work. 

After reviewing the timing, he realized attending the ceremony would not be possible and ultimately chose to honor his professional obligations.

The American Idol and Wheel of Fortune host said he was "honored" to receive an invitation and had even personally confirmed to Swift and Kelce that he would be there after running into them before the wedding. 

Despite his absence, he said he understood that his hosting duties left him with no alternative.

According to Daily Mail, Seacrest also shared that he successfully kept the wedding details private, despite knowing about the event beforehand. 

His comments put to rest online speculation that he had been left off the guest list, with the presenter making it clear that scheduling, not a lack of invitation, kept him away.

Swift and Kelce exchanged vows during a lavish ceremony attended by hundreds of guests, drawing widespread attention for its star-studded guest list and elaborate celebrations.
