Simone Biles breaks silence on Taylor Swift bond with blunt reply

Simone Biles has made it crystal clear she has no intention of explaining her friendship with Taylor Swift to anyone.

The 11-time Olympic medallist sent fans into a frenzy after attending Swift’s lavish wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce at New York’s Madison Square Garden alongside her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens. 

But while many followers were busy admiring the gymnast’s stunning blood-red gown, one cheeky social media comment stole the spotlight.

A sceptical fan asked: “When has Simone Biles and Taylor Swift even spoken to each other?” complete with a laughing emoji.

She wasted no time shutting down the speculation with a cool, confident reply: “Remember this, I only show y’all what I want y’all to know.”

Her response quickly caught the attention of fans, with many praising the Olympic icon for refusing to justify her private life or friendships.

Although the pair keep much of their relationship away from the public eye, there has long been evidence of genuine admiration between them.

Back in 2024, Biles wowed crowds during the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials by performing part of her floor routine to Swift’s hit, Ready For It? 

The Grammy winner singer loved the performance so much that she shared her excitement online, admitting she had watched it repeatedly before declaring that Biles was more than ready.

Their bond stretches back even further to the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, when the songstress publicly supported her after the gymnast bravely stepped back from several events while battling the dangerous mental block known as the “twisties”.

Swift narrated an emotional NBC tribute praising Biles not only for her extraordinary talent but also for her courage and honesty during one of the toughest moments of her career.
