Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter Natasha Bure Perry has fired back at critics who have taken issue with her proudly showing off her growing baby bump online.
The 27-year-old singer, who is expecting her first child with husband Bradley Perry, made it clear she has no plans to hide her pregnancy after receiving a flood of messages from people telling her to cover up.
In a candid TikTok video shared on Friday, she addressed the backlash head-on, admitting she was stunned by the reaction to her maternity style.
“Raise your hand if you will never understand people being offended by a pregnant belly being out,” she joked before adding: “I literally don’t care.”
Natasha and Bradley, both 27, announced in May that they were expecting their first baby, and since then she has regularly shared updates with fans.
However, not everyone has been supportive, with some followers urging her to wear looser clothing and questioning why she chooses to show her bump.
But the songstress insisted she is embracing every moment of pregnancy and is prouder of her body than ever before.
Natasha revealed that she has struggled with body insecurities and body dysmorphia throughout her life, making her current confidence feel even more meaningful.
“I love my pregnant belly,” she said.
“I have never in my life been so proud of my body.”
She also laughed off criticism about her wardrobe, explaining she has already spent a fortune replacing clothes that no longer fit as her body changes.
And if anyone’s a fan of her bump, it’s husband Bradley.
She revealed the former Disney Channel star loves seeing her pregnancy glow and recently admitted her baby bump is his “favourite thing ever”.
The mum-to-be ended her message with a firm warning for critics that if they don’t like seeing her growing belly, they can simply stop watching until after the baby arrives.
