Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing fresh legal allegations following a California civil suit this week that claims he sexually assaulted a former child actor almost 20 years ago.
As outlined in court records reported by the publisher, the plaintiff alleges the event occurred in May 2007 at a networking gathering in the Hollywood Hills, when he was underage and attending to pursue acting opportunities.
According to TMZ, the complaint states he was invited by Combs into a private room to discuss potential professional opportunities, including a project the music executive was reportedly developing.
The lawsuit claims the plaintiff was given a drink and began to “feel the effects” before experiencing unwanted sexual contact.
It further alleges that despite expressing discomfort, the conduct continued and the filing described the alleged actions as “outrageous” and says they resulted in significant emotional distress.
“Defendant Combs’ conduct was outrageous, intended to terrorize and cause him emotional distress, and did in fact cause him emotional distress. This assault was so extreme as to go beyond the bound of decency and be regarded intolerable by civilized society,” the lawsuit stated.
The complaint also names the plaintiff’s former agents, alleging a failure to provide adequate supervision or safeguards at the event.
Combs has denied the allegations through his representative, calling them “false and ridiculous.
