Sean "Diddy" Combs could be facing yet another major legal battle as fresh allegations of sexual battery are reportedly being reviewed by authorities in Los Angeles.
The 56-year-old disgraced rapper is already serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted on prostitution-related offences, but new claims could pile further pressure on the former rap superstar.
According to reports, celebrity publicist Jonathan Hay has accused Combs of sexual battery and claims the allegations are now under review by prosecutors.
Venusse D. Dunn, chief communications officer for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, confirmed that both the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department have presented findings relating to the case.
Hay, who first filed a civil lawsuit against the rap mogul in July 2025, said he feels a sense of validation as the matter continues to be examined.
Describing himself as a "survivor", Hay said having his experiences heard by investigators marked a major step forward in his pursuit of accountability.
He added that he remains confident justice will ultimately be served.
The allegations include claims that Combs sexually assaulted him and engaged in inappropriate behaviour during encounters in 2020 and 2021.
Notably, Last Night singer has strongly denied all accusations.
His attorney, Jonathan Davis, previously dismissed the lawsuit as part of a "media circus", insisting the claims are false and defamatory.
The lawyer said I'll Be Missing You hitmaker intends to clear his name through the courts and not through public speculation.
The latest developments come as he remains behind bars after his 2025 conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
While he was cleared of more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges, the growing number of allegations continues to cast a long shadow over the once-celebrated hip-hop icon's future.
