Emilia Clarke recently opened up about her horrible experience of filming nude scenes in Hollywood.
The English actress spoke to Variety in their Power of Women issue and shared that she felt insecure on movie sets during explicit scenes.
“I've experienced lack of care on other jobs which I think could have been prevented with some consideration,” explained the 39-year-old.
Me Before You actress said that she didn’t want to mention roles that showed onscreen nudity.
“There has just been a number of occasions where I've been like: 'This ain't right' And again, it's not through someone abusing power; it's through lack of thinking and care,” pointed out Emilia.
Elsewhere in the interview, Emilia, who played Daenerys Targaryen for eight seasons, highly appreciated the creators of Game of Thrones where she felt less safe compared to other sets.
The actress also talked about suffering two life-threatening brain aneurysms during her time filming the HBO fantasy series.
“For a number of years, I felt that I had cheated death, and it was coming to get me… I truly felt like I had done something wrong, and I shouldn't be here,” said Emilia.
However, she jokingly added, “I thought it ruined my ability to act, which some people might agree with!”
