Travis Kelce reacts to controversial beer chug with Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is brushing off criticism after his viral beer chugging moment at an NBA game, where he was seen courtside alongside his fiancée Taylor Swift.

During the May 27 episode of the New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce brought up the clip from the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks game on May 23, playfully calling out his brother over the on camera moment.

Jason said, “You f---ing classless. You're a role model, Travis! You cannot be out there chugging beers in public!”

However, Travis pushed back immediately, defending how the moment played out.

He insisted, “It was a classy chug, Jason! I didn't spill one drop. I didn't crush the can. I'm on the hardwood floor at an NBA game. It could have got messy. It was a smooth, classy chug to get the people going.”

As the brothers reviewed the footage, Jason softened his stance and even complimented Travis’ technique and composure.

“It was an elegant chug. It wasn't too much energy. It was just the right amount and it was smooth. Just like everything you do. You are a smooth athlete,” Jason quipped.

“Not even touching the lips, no form of panic. You didn't even panic when the foam started coming out. You knew there was a chance it was gonna get a little a little messy. Pinkie was up!”

Moreover, Travis also touched on the trip with Swift, saying they made a quick visit and that he enjoys bringing her to Cleveland.
