Bruce Willis’ daughter Rumer recently shared her rare moments with her father.
The Die Hard actor’s eldest daughter spoke on the latest episode of The Inside Edit podcast and talked about spending time with her father amid his journey with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
“I love getting to go over and see him,” said the 37-year-old.
Rumer, who shares two-year-old daughter with ex Derek Richard Thomas, explained she’s “so grateful that I have a child that got to meet him because I don't know if my sisters will have that”.
The Empire star revealed she’s “so grateful that I get to go see him even though our time together is different now”.
Gushing over her father, Rumer said, “Theres a sweetness. He's always been this, kind of, macho dude and now there's just tenderness that maybe being, you know, Bruce might not have allowed him in a certain way.”
Elsewhere in the conversation, the actress also talked about her blended family and how they “rallied together” since Bruce diagnosis in March 2022.
“We don't do it perfectly but we're always striving to continue to create connection and find ways to be with each other and support each other through something that is kind of unprecedented,” she added.
