Rumer Willis, who is known for being the daughter of famous Hollywood stars, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, recently recalled her "brutal" relationship with her ex.
The actress previously had a long-term, two-year affair with musician, Derek Richard Thomas.
Now, sitting with her best friend, stylist Maeve Reilly, on The Inside Edit podcast on Monday, May 18th, she revealed what made her realised it was over between her and her partner.
She gushed, "Your wedding literally was a huge reckoning moment for me in my life."
Rumer added, "I heard your vows and I just realized that the situation I was in was never going to look like that, no matter how much effort I put in."
Notably, the host, who has also been her friend for over a decade now, got married in June 2024 to husband Zach Quittman.
The Bunny House star said that as she saw her pal getting married, saying "I do" to the love her life, she cried and realised that she should have more value for herself.
The 37-year-old confessed, "I need to go and like, leave, no matter how scared I am and find something that looks like this, because I want that. Literally, it was such a huge reckoning and massive moment for me so I will always be grateful."
It is to be noted that the couple, who broke up in 2024, also share a three-year-old daughter, Louetta.
