Emilia Clarke recently revealed her preparation to sustain motherhood dream in future, notably after health scare.
The Game of Thrones star made major decision to preserve her fertility after suffering two brain aneurysms in her 20s, which resulted in two brain surgeries.
In her latest interview with The Times, Emilia shared that she chose to freeze her eggs after experiencing life-threatening conditions.
“You go through certain universal moments, like I was 35 when I froze my eggs,” said the Me Before You actress.
Emilia told the outlet, “A lot of other women around that age are freezing their eggs.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the English actress explained how her sufferings and death of her father led her to stay away from the spotlight for a while.
“I did go through a number of years where I wanted to shut my front door and sit in my nest,” remarked the 39-year-old.
Emilia went on saying, “I can't begin to describe how young I was, how naïve I was when I started.”
The actress admitted that she had “no understanding of the industry,” and then she was suffering from “life-threatening brain injury”.
I was so unwell and I kept thinking I was going to die,” she added.
