Kiefer Sutherland has officially canceled the U.S. leg of his upcoming tour and has announced that fans who brought tickets would be getting refunded.

The actor and musician is promoting his fourth album Grey, and has had a successful run on tour in Europe but remains underrated in the U.S., which is why he has pulled back.

In a statement shared via Instagram the singer wrote, "With great disappointment I am going to have to cancel the US leg of my tour due to very low ticket sales. I don't think it's fair to the people who have bought tickets, or the venues, to play to half empty houses."

Sutherland added, "I look forward to touring the United States again at a more suitable time. I hope you understand,” also assuring fans that refunds will be available from point of purchase.

The 59-year-old’s announcement came whilst his promotion of the latest album, Grey, which he has described as a deeply personal project.
