Barry Keoghan, who is the father of one, recently supported the parents who just became new parents.
For the unversed, the Irish actor welcomed his only son, Brando, in August 2022 with former girlfriend, Alyson Sandro.
Now, talking about parenthood and his journey as a father for three years now, The Batman star has opened up about the experience.
He revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that a person should not change themselves once they welcome their baby.
He stated, assuring the mom and dads, "It’s OK to be you as a dad, and I’ve learned that by being me."
The 33-year-old added, "This is how I do it, and this is how I show love.”
This comes after he opened up about his latest released movie, Butterfly Jam, in which he plays the lead role of a father.
It is to be noted that Barry first entered foster care at the age of five with his brother, Eric, as he went through a traumatic childhood.
He and his younger sibling had to move to 13 different foster homes because their mother was unable to care for them.
Notably, the parents of the BAFTA Award winner were both addicted as his father was mostly absent and his mother was barely there.
