The rapper previously made headlines when she announced her fourth studio album Big Mama, with the cover art being news of her first pregnancy with fellow rapper 21 Savage.
In a post on X, the 27-year-old simply wrote “5/2, My retirement album, Thank you for everything,” and instantly went viral.
It seems like Latto, whose real name is Alyssa Michelle Stephens’ rap career will be quite short-lived if the rapper is truly retiring with her soon-to-drop album, since she released her debut record in 2020.
