Cardi B serves 'The Drama' at Met Gala, sparks major buzz

Cardi B has divided the internet as she owns the title of her latest album, Am I The Drama?

The singer recently sparked major buzz as she attended the costume party of celebrities on Friday, May 1st.

Present at one of Hollywood’s high-end events, the Met Gala, the star donned a customised dress by Marc Jacobs.

The dress has specifically gained the attention of the online community as everyone wonders what might be the reason for coming up with such a dress on such an important occasion.

The black, transparent gown is said to be inspired by the work of German surrealist artist, Hans Bellmer, who is known for his dismembered sculptural dolls.

Upon seeing the look, most of the viewers criticised the look as they described it as “guts” or “intestines,”

One person wrote on X, “No she looks like she has overgrowth on her skin I don’t like it,”

Another added, “That has to be one of the strangest getups! I agree with another guy, looks like intestines with spider veins.”

It is to be noted that the female rapper also revealed during the red carpet interview that she was sick during the event.
