Madonna marked her appearance at the Met Gala this year with her “goth” dress, but has made fans question her style as well.
The "Queen of Pop" stunned at the star-studded event, which held the theme of “Art Costume” this year.
Present at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit on Monday, May 4th, she marked her presence with a satin dress custom-made by Saint Laurent (YSL)’s designer, Anthony Vaccarello.
She wore a black gown with a showstopper hat which featured a custom-made wig showcasing mast and sails and went all the way down to her waist.
Notably, the wig was made by a self-proclaimed “hair couturier”, Merria Dearman, who described her project as “surreal” and added, “I would say it's fucking Madonna. There's nothing else to say other than it's completely her world.”
It is to be noted that the netizens also claimed that the Popular hit maker embraced the theme of the event, as she made an entry as a “dark enchantress.”
For the unversed, the inspiration comes from Leonora Carrington’s 1945 painting, called “The Temptations of Saint Anthony Fragment II.”
