Former Jennie Garth has revealed she made peace with her long-time rival Shannen Doherty before the tragic star’s death.
The 54-year-old actress brought a touching end to one of telly’s most talked-about feuds.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 co-stars famously clashed at the height of their fame in the 90s, as their on-screen tension spilled into real life.
But now, Jennie has shared that behind the scenes, the pair quietly buried the hatchet years before Shannen passed away in July 2024 at the age of 53.
Speaking candidly, she admitted the rivalry wasn’t entirely their fault.
“We were so young and suddenly thrown into this huge spotlight,” she said, explaining how scripts, media narratives and public expectations constantly pitted them against each other.
In a heartwarming twist, the actresses later reconnected as adults, even sharing dinners with their partners.
“We were able to see it for what it really was,” Jennie revealed.
“We accepted apologies and just moved on.”
Looking back, Danielle Steel's Star actress confessed she regrets how things unfolded, saying the feud became bigger than them.
“It translated into the media and shaped how the world saw us,” she explained, adding that the pressure created confusion and hurt on both sides.
She also didn’t shy away from calling out the industry, admitting their clashes made for “better TV” but came at a personal cost.
“No one was guiding us. We were just trying to survive it,” she said.
