Lewis Capaldi breaks silence on Kim Kardashian mix-up moment

Lewis Capaldi has poked fun at a hilarious case of mistaken identity after being confused with Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton during a viral Coachella moment.

The 29-year-old hitmaker was left amused when a clip circulated online appearing to show him chatting with Kim Kardashian while watching Justin Bieber perform on April 11. 

But fans quickly realised the man in question wasn’t Capaldi at all, it was Hamilton in disguise, sporting a hoodie, cap and sunglasses while Kim kept a low profile behind a scarf.

Never one to miss a joke, Someone You Loved hitmaker shared the post and cheekily wrote: “Wow guys not cool such an invasion of our privacy,” sending fans into a frenzy.

The original user soon owned up to the blunder, admitting it was a typo that accidentally swapped Hamilton for Capaldi and the internet couldn’t get enough of the mix-up.

Meanwhile, Hamilton’s appearance with Kardashian has only fuelled rumours about their blossoming romance. 

The pair were seen together throughout the first weekend of Coachella, looking close as they enjoyed the star-studded festival.

Insiders claim the connection is more than just a fling, with Hamilton already winning over SKIMS founder’s famous family thanks to his laid-back personality and “great energy”.
