Karol G called only Sofia Vergara before bold 'Playboy' shoot

Karol G also revealed that she consulted with just one person prior to posing to Playboy: Sofia Vergara.

The 35-year-old Colombian singer that will be the first Latina star to perform on Coachella in this month, was photographed with her hands over her chest in a naked pose by the legendary magazine.

"The only person I asked if I should do it or not was Sofía Vergara," Karol told Playboy. 

She went on to explain, "I called her and told her, 'If you tell me not to do it, I won't.'"

Vergara was as usual straightforward, "[She said] ‘Mijita, with that body? When you get to this age, you tell yourself, f***, why didn’t I pose that one time?"

Karol recalled her blunt advice, "I should have posed more with a thong! Just one thing: Don’t show your p****!’” 

Vergara also requested her to think about her motivation. "'This moment will have a reason. What is going to be your reason?'" Karol said.

The singer explained that on a personal level, she wanted to embrace the chance to feel "beautiful" and "sexy."

"Because I grew up inspired by how beautiful the women in the magazine looked and now I have the opportunity to be that beautiful, sexy, mamasota," she said.

Karol, who will be the headliner at Coachella on April 12 and 19, also shared her happy being single. 

"I'm letting go of everything. I'm single and, to be honest, I've always thought that my most evolutionary moments come when I'm alone," she marked.
