Tom Holland has chosen to remain elusive about what kind of advice he has received from Matt Damon when they filmed Christopher Nolan’s, The Odyssey.
The co-stars are set to portray epic characters, Damon as King Odysseus and Holland as his son, Telemachus, from the ancient Greek mythology.
In an interview with the GQ magazine, the Spider-Man star talking about his experience on set with the Good Will Hunting actor, said, “We spent so much time together, and what I’m really grateful for with Matt is that he is exactly what I would have hoped he would be like.”
Calling him a “leader”, Holland lauded Damon’s hard work on “a very tough movie.”
The Impossible star added that despite the challenging role, the Oscar winner would come to set “with a smile on his face and he was gracious and he was so kind to the crew.”
The interviewer then asked if The Martian performer gave him any “fatherly advice” about which Holland played coy and said, “So there are words of wisdom that he’s given me that I’ll keep to myself.”
He continued explaining that he learned a lot from Damon while just being a spectator his work on the set.
The upcoming film mark Holland and Damon’s first-ever collaboration.
In addition to them, the project has a massive ensemble cast, including Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Elliot Page, Mia Goth, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo and Robert Pattinson, among others.
