Jumanji 3, the famous franchise known for its family-friendly adventurous story line, recently got an exciting update.
The movie that is directed by Jake Kasdan, who also worked on the latest two modern installments of the franchise, has finally received a release date.
Now, reported by the Hollywood Reporter, the anticipated reboot is set to release on Christmas Eve for families to have one more thing to do on the special day.
It was also revealed that initially the film was set to release on December 11, but it got pushed to two weeks later.
The potential hit stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Black Jack, together with supporting actors like Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Danny DeVito, and Danny Glover.
The new storyline follows a couple of students sat down to play a mysterious game which takes them to a supernatural world.
The plot is expected to be a real-world invasion, similar to 1995’s original movie, where the characters must stop the game from taking over the town.
For the unfamiliar, the first motion picture of the franchise was an adaption of a children’s book written by Chris Van Allsburg in 1981.
