Emily Osmet opened up about the real reason behind her no-show in the upcoming Hannah Montana anniversary reunion.

The Young & Hungry star was unable to attend the anniversary due to her conflicting schedule with her show Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage.

The actress shared the news through her Instagram account, in a video clip where she is chatting with her Georgie and Mandy co-star Montana Jordan in between takes on the set of their CBS sitcom.

"I wanted to say hello and thank you to everybody that has stuck by us for all these years," she said. "So grateful that you guys all still love this show. I'm so proud to be a part of it."

Talking about how meaningful the experience was for her, Osment wrote in the caption, "Hannah Montana changed my life, it gave me a lifelong respect for this medium of comedy, it taught me discipline, patience, timing and respect working in an adult space so young."

Expressing her heartfelt gratitude, she added, "Thank you for letting me into your living rooms and I hope to still be there many years from now."

Osment starred alongside Cyrus, 33, Jason Earles (Jackson Stewart), Billy Ray Cyrus (Robby Ray Stewart) and Mitchel Musso (Oliver Oken) on Hannah Montana.

The show aired for four seasons from March 2006 to January 2011. It also featured a film, Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009.

The Hannah Montana Anniversary Special is set to premiere on Disney+ on Tuesday, March 24.
