Katy Perry shares joy and light with fans despite drama

Even when the internet twist her narrative, Katy Perry is spreading love.

The 41-year-old pop star amid the  as she asks her fans to take the high road following the backlash.

On March 13, she posted a message of goodwill to X, saying, "i love you. be kind. always take the high road if you can my kc’s."

Katy continued, "It’s much lighter here. so excited to share my joy and light with you this summer. i already miss you. x (sic)"

The American singer-songwriter replied when one fan pleaded with her, "can you at least drag ur haters for once. love light doesn’t always work girl (sic)"

In a sympathetic tone, she answered "they must already be in a lot of pain to be so unkind. i send them love and hope they can find their peace. (sic)"

Another netizen praised her act, "The internet can be chaotic, but messages like this make it feel a little brighter."

The I Kissed A Girl crooner once again engaged optimistically to remind ourselves that people are good.

The comes after  two days later when Perry responded to a fan who wrote about how he was having financial problems and was forced to sell his concert ticket. 

"But I am looking forward to seeing you," wrote Perry, an answer to which critics made an outcry of unresponsiveness and "tone-deaf".

Fans came to her defence, saying that she would be called performative in case she assisted publicly.
